Notice a shared question.
Ask what people would like to understand or improve. Listen across ages and experiences. Record the question in language that participants recognize, then identify what evidence would help the group consider it.
Develop a practical proposal.
Describe the idea, who it serves, the resources it would use, and how people could participate. Consider access, differing needs, and the responsibilities required to sustain the work.
Learn from the experience.
After a project, ask what changed, what remained difficult, and what should happen next. Share observations in a form that is understandable and respects participants’ privacy.
